.Basic Information.
Name: Cricketstar
Gender: tom
Age: 25 moons
Clan: WindClan
Rank: leader
.Details.
Personality: Cricketstar is not yet a wise old leader. He is young and has just started out. Leadership is in his blood but he is still figuring out how everything works. Cricketstar can be very gentle at times and listens to his senior warriors a lot. But when in the heat of a battle or at a gathering, its almost like Cricketstar has been a leader for many many more moons. When he was a kit and apprentice he was very bubbly and loved to talk to others. That can sometimes still carry on into him now.
Description: Bright orange tabby with dark stripes, Cricketstar looks quite a lot like an old ThunderClan leader that once helped the forest cats many times. Dark amber eyes can pierce through you when this leader stares you down. Even though he can be gentle, a kit never wants to get in trouble and have those eyes watching it. Cricketstar has a thick tail and short fur. His ears are smaller then most, but Cricketstar has long legs and long whiskers.

History:
Cricketkit was born as an only kit. He was named by his mother who had two names to choose from. One was Flamekit, because of the markings over his eyes. The other, of course, was Cricketkit. Cricketkit's mother, Frostheart, decided that Cricketkit would better describe the kit because he also had a "hoppy" personality. Cricketkit's father was deputy although he had died just a few moons after Cricketkit was born. The kit did not really understand what had happened to his father so he was ok.
Growing up as an apprentice, Cricketpaw heard many cats say that he looked like Firestar. There was some chance of course that Cricketpaw could be kin to the great leader but Firestar had left the forest a very long time ago. Cricketpaw decided that if he looked like a great leader, he should become one. Gorsestar, the current leader, was his mentor. Gorsestar saw much potential in Cricketpaw and pushed him as much as he could. Cricketpaw worked hard and became a warrior a moon earlier than most. His mother was so proud.
Cricketfoot served his clan well for the short time he was a warrior. He was in every battle and helped whenever it was needed. When the deputy of WindClan died during a battle Cricketfoot was announced to take his place. Cricketfoot could see the pride in Frostheart's eyes. Cricketfoot was the deputy for another few moons until Gorsestar fell sick. He had but one life yet. Cricketfoot stayed with Gorsestar all night. Gorsestar had been like a father to Cricketfoot, he had also been his mentor. With the last few breaths he had, Gorsestar told Cricketfoot he would lead the clan to great things. Now Cricketstar is leading his clan the best he can.
In Character:
Cricketstar woke up just as he had done for the past moon. It hadn't been long since Gorsestar had died and Cricketstar missed the old leader. Cricketstar padded out of his den and headed to the fresh-kill pile. The first thing he would do would be to take food to his mother. She might be lonely being the only elder at the moment and Cricketstar had time before the rest of the clan woke.
Cricketstar's eyes adjusted as he padded into the elder's den. His mother was curled up in her nest but he could tell she was not asleep. Her breathing was not slowed. "Hello mother,"he said as he set the fresh-kill beside her. Frostheart got up and smiled at her son as she took a bite of the rabbit he had brought. "Thank you Cricketstar,"she said as she took another bite."You should get back out there. Your clan will need you soon." Cricketstar nodded as he padded back out.
In just the few moments he was gone, the camp had come alive. A few apprentices were practicing moves outside of their den and some warriors where heading out on the morning patrol. Everything was normal so far. All of a sudden Cricketstar saw Moonjade hurry from her den to the nursery. Cricketstar padded after her. He remembered that Lightfur's kit, Thistlekit, had started to sneeze the day before. Letting his medicine cat work with space, Cricketstar left the nursery and padded to wards the apprentices.
"How is your training going?"Cricketstar asked two that where practicing a move that they recently learned.
"I think mine is going great,"replied a young apprentice filled with energy. Cricketstar knew she was Juniperpaw, she was the last apprentice that Gorsestar had made. The other apprentice nodded, but did not seem to speak. This one was Mousepaw. He had not spoken since his mother was killed by a horse one their way to a gathering. She had gotten too close to the creatures and paid for it with her life.
Cricketstar left the apprentices to practice more as he looked around the camp. The warriors where coming back from their patrol and he padded over to them. "How are the boarders?"
"There seems to be some ThunderClan scent on our side of the river,"one of them replied.
"But it does not go any father so i believe that an apprentice might have fallen in, came up on our side, and went back to their territory,"a young she-cat warrior added.
Cricketstar nodded,"we shall just watch their for a few days."
