.Basic Information. Name: Hazestar Gender: Tom Age: 28 moons Clan: Shadowclan Rank: Leader
.Details. Personality: Hazestar acts rough, tough, mean, and stubborn around other cats. He seems to show no respect to any of the other leaders or any cat period. However, unlike some of the cats of his clan, he can be helpful and respectful when the time calls for it. He chooses not to pick sides, or allies, although he seems that in his time of need he shall pick allies, which is all too rare for him. Hazestar also likes a few things, and they seem to have come with his name, he likes the darkness, alone time, and oddly, the moon. Hazestar is also what some people call ‘full of yourself’. He thinks highly of himself and thinks that no one compares. Description: Hazestar is a dark brown/black colour. Due to his hazy colour, it suits him for hunting nocturnal prey. Hazestar’s eyes are a bright, vibrant yellow, which take in vast details. His body is mostly built for speed and small places; therefore, he is out of proportion, being slightly skinny, but tall. Hazestar’s tail is also long and useful when chasing down prey; it acts mostly like a cheetah tail, whipping about keeping himself balanced. Hazestar’s left ear is also torn in several places due to an attack when he was an apprentice. It appears as though he was attacked by a badger or fox, when he was actually attacked by a dog. Picture: I'm making it. History: [hazekit] When Hazekit was born, there were three other kits, his siblings. Out of the four, Hazekit looked more like a combination of his parents, the colour of his mother, Duskpelt and the body of his father, Fleetcloud. His three siblings, were named thus; Blackkit, Willowkit, and Clipperkit. The four of them were a rowdy bunch, causing havoc wherever they went, without a care in the world.
[hazepaw] When he was apprenticed, his mentor was named Silentpelt. Silentpelt was a dark gray she-cat who was very devoted, but silent in her teachings. During this time, Hazestar was growing very rapidly, both in body and in mind. His training was tough, and despite it all, he rarely was injured. However, soon that changed. Out on a training mission with Silentpelt, they had gone all the way to the border, and there was no sign of another creature for yards and yards around them. When the pair of cats was training fighting styles, something had snuck upon them. It was a large dog, and the dog was watching them. Silentpelt had repeatedly told him to return to the camp and get help, but he was stubborn, and believed he could fight it on his own. It was a street dog, for it had neither collar nor scent of a two-leg upon its body. Within minutes, the two cats were injured and the dog had left. Out of the two, Silentpelt had received the most grave of the injuries, all Hazepaw had was a torn ear, and Silentpelt had multiple bite wounds and she knew that she was at the end of her life. Silentpelt’s last words still haunt Hazestar sometimes, “You fool! You could have saved me, only if you had gone to the camp like I had said, I could have lived!” In addition, from then on, he always did what he was told, and when he was told to do it. When he brought his dead mentor’s body home, looks showed that it seemed that he could not be trusted by anyone or anything with the care of one of their own.
[hazepelt] Hazepelt was still obedient and he continued his training, although harder than before. He was still receiving looks of dismay and betrayal from his fellows. The only ones who stayed beside him were his siblings, now Warriors as well. Blackheart most of all was the closest to him; therefore, long talks were done between the two toms. However, his sisters Willowtail and Clippercloud were becoming more distant and had hardly anything to do with him. He was disappointed, he loved his siblings, but they were distant, from an accident that he could have prevented, he was heartbroken, he always was. However, the betrayal of his siblings is what made him harsher towards other cats and what inspired him to become stronger. When he was twenty moons old, he was made deputy after the former one was killed in a scuffle with a badger. It seemed that it was fate for him to be made the deputy to prove his loyalty to his clan, and retrieve and restore his lost honour.
[hazestar] For three moons now, he has been the leader of Shadowclan, and therefore; it is his responsibility to protect and serve his clan. Despite the beginning attack on them by the foxes, his warriors as well as himself stood strong against the attack, but found it futile. Later through much convincing, his clan sided with the foxes to invade the other territories for food. However, that is not their real goal. Their real goal is much larger, and much more lethal. Hazestar is firm in his decision standing by on what his mentor taught him, what the former leader taught him, even what the clan members who turned against him, taught him. Using his knowledge, he is now considering a mass assassination attempt on all of the cats (excluding his of course) of the forest. Now, he doesn’t know if he will, or will not succeed.
-word count- 667 In Character: Hazestar was careful. Extremely careful, even though he was on the fox’s side, who knew what held before him. His eyes scanned the territory that was in sight, gaining slight knowledge to where the foxes were sleeping. The camps outer rim was not as strong as they had thought it was against the foxes, as they had originally thought; now they were paying for it. Hazestar shook his head. “Those foxes, they though they could pummel in here and say they were going to destroy us without a fight. Bah, they do not know what they are up against. This situation is going to take severe thought and preparations; we must do what we must.” He thought aloud to himself. The current situation was not one to lightly think upon, Hazestar was a deep thinker, and he chose to study the situation from afar, and chose not to be caught up in internal affairs of other clans however grave the situation is. Despite it all, Hazestar’s master plan was beginning to unfold, with the disruption of the badgers and other creatures, the clans would be caught up against each other trying to find allies to help them. Seeing as the Shadowclan cats would not help anyone at this moment in time, made everything much better, the situation was a great cover-up. His planning of attacking the neighboring clans for food was much better with the attacks of the animals, rather than just his clan. It helped that while the clans were off fighting, it produced an opening to receive the fact that at that current moment, his clan was strongest. It didn’t matter to him if he was going to be considered a traitor amongst the leaders, at this point, it was just to feed his clan, but the animals attacking the clans was not his idea, to him everything was a conspiracy to ruin the lives of those who live here. He had no time for fun and games; he was strictly on business, important business at that. He was to search for an opening in one of the dens of the foxes, to discuss with them, and then he was to search for an opening into one of the clans, surely this would be something that all of them could do, or at least, he could do. Hazestar’s eyes again examined the vast terrain; the flat lands could do nothing to him now.
